Enjoying Autumn! – Fall Colors Cocktail

Well, it looks like Autumn is finally arriving! After a few weeks of back & forth between Summer & Fall, the gorgeous Autumn weather is here to stay! Temperatures have been in the 60s and 70s during the days, then falling into the 40s and 50s overnight. It is my absolute favorite weather! I would happily take these temperatures & the drier air all year round.

And the trees! They are starting to change into their brilliant end of season colors. The weather most of us experienced over the Summer and in the beginning of Fall should make for fabulous Autumn color on the trees. According to Accuweather, “the best weather for brilliant fall foliage is a growing season with ample moisture followed by a dry, cool, and sunny Autumn with warm days and cool but frostless nights.” And that perfectly describes the weather we have been experiencing. Most sections of the country have had abundant rain over the Summer, followed by the warm, sunny days and cool nights of late. Hopefully, Fall of 2018 will have a spectacular show of color on the trees! I am looking forward to it!
