With every great holiday main dish, an equally delicious vegetable dish is needed. At least in our home. But it also must require a minimal amount of work. This Brussels sprouts side dish is the perfect choice.
These are not just sprouts cooked with a sprinkling of cheese on them. They are way better. The Parmesan cheese is made into a paste with melted butter, garlic & onion powders, lemon zest, salt & pepper. Said paste is spread on a baking sheet and the halved sprouts are pressed into the paste then baked. The result is perfectly cooked Brussels sprouts with a savory, crispy layer of seasoned Parmesan cheese on them. Delectable and a wonderful vegetable side dish for the holidays!
