Fall Cocktail – Apple Cider Bourbon Cocktail

I had a few reservations about posting 3 apple recipes in 2 weeks, but the first one was a main dish, the second a breakfast, dessert, or side dish, and this one is a cocktail. A variety of apple recipes seemed in order for the seasonal apple harvest!

Maple sugaring may be a spring thing, but apple cider and bourbon are definitely fall & cooler weather things. When combined, these three are the perfect ingredients for an autumn cocktail. I’m thinking of all our favorite fall activities (e.g. pumpkin picking, corn mazes, football games, hay rides, fall foliage viewing, . . . ) and predicting this cocktail is going to hit the spot for all our favorite fall activities. While we didn’t try it warmed, I bet it would also be good that way during chilly fall evenings!
