It’s the weekend before Halloween and we have a party to attend! It’s been a long time since we attended a costume party and I’m looking forward to dressing up for the occasion again and celebrating it with good friends! Eric and I are going with a couple’s theme for our costumes, although I’m not going to give it away before the party. But I do have to thank Andrew for lending us the major components of our costumes.
We’re kicking off Halloween weekend tonight with an orange infused cocktail. It features orange in both color and flavor with orange juice, Triple Sec, and Aperol. Aperol may be new to many others out there, as it was to me. It is bright orange in color, with a unique taste. That taste comes from selected ingredients including bitter and sweet oranges, and rhubarb, along with many other herbs and roots in perfect proportions. It’s an almost 100-year-old secret recipe! This cocktail will get you into the “spirit” of things!
